The Challenges in Effectively Addressing the Needs of all Impacted by Autism Scott Badesch, President/CEO Autism Society of America Today, more people than ever before are living with autism. But our nation does not have a comprehensive plan or national commitment to have each person living with autism maximize his or her quality of life each day, be provided opportunities for success, and be treated and respected with the highest dignity. Mr. Badesch will provide a framework for how this can all change for the better. About the Presenters: Scott Badesch is the President/CEO of the Autism Society of America, the nation’s oldest and largest grassroots organization. Mr. Badesch has been in this role since 2011. Prior to his work with the Autism Society, Scott worked for over 26 years in senior leadership positions with local and state United Ways. Scott is nationally known leader in public/private partnership development, coalition building, and national fund raising. He has been married to his wife Phyllis for 30 years and has four adult age children. He has a Master’s Degree from the University of Chicago and received his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Chicago. He resides in Silver Spring, Maryland and is a lifelong and frustrated Chicago Cubs fan.
